Macalloy's new architectural solution for the CHS

Macalloy Fixed End Compression Strut

Macalloy has launched its new Fixed End Compression Strut range, which is now available to order.

The Fixed End is a one piece casting which is designed to provide an architectural, cost effective, alternative to the standard welded T-piece usually used on the end of a CHS, RHS or HSS.

The component maintains the same critical dimensions as the standard fork system used in the Macalloy tension bar, adjustable compression strut and stainless cables ranges.

The Macalloy fixed End Compression Strut has a collar which fits inside a standard hollow section and then can be simply welded up. Macalloy will supply just the end components and the hollow section can be cut and the final strut welded on or near site

The Fixed End components are available to fit hollow sections in diameters from 33.7mm to 323.9mm and are available in carbon steel as standard. The components can be supplied galvanised and larger diameters and stainless steel versions are available to special order.
