Macalloy tie bars have been used throughout this glass atrium. The tie rods are used as structural support for the glass façade, to suspend skybridges, to support a sculpture and as general bracing support.
The use of Macalloy tension bars allowed for a consistent look, utilizing the same fork, or clevis end, fitting throughout the building.
Springs were used within the façade to help control potential movement in the building.
