Macalloy tie bars act as bracing in the glulam roof of Inzell ice stadium, Germany. Prior to been covered the ice rink was a world famous outdoor rink with an exceptionally fast track where several world records had been broken.

The now enclosed arena can hold 6,000 spectators.
