El puente de Troja representa un gran paso adelante en eficiencia estructural. La reconfiguraci\u00f3n de los tirantes del arco de cuerda de arco, que han pasado de una disposici\u00f3n vertical convencional a otra diagonal, ha mejorado dr\u00e1sticamente el rendimiento del puente, multiplicando por cuatro su rigidez. La esbeltez de sus arcos y su baja relaci\u00f3n entre altura y luz crean una estructura \u00fanica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El puente gan\u00f3 el Premio a la Excelencia de la Convenci\u00f3n Europea del Acero de Construcci\u00f3n (ECCS) en 2015:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participaci\u00f3n de Macalloy:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Macalloy suministr\u00f3 su sistema barras de tension para ser utilizado como los colgadores del puente. Macalloy dise\u00f1\u00f3 una forma de rosca \u00fanica resistente a la fatiga para el proyecto, que se prob\u00f3 de acuerdo con EN 1993-1-11 y cumple con los requisitos del Euroc\u00f3digo 3 para conexiones de fatiga en puentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La forma \u00fanica en cruz de los tirantes hace que el puente sea m\u00e1s r\u00edgido y permite conseguir una mayor relaci\u00f3n longitud\/altura que en los puentes de arco est\u00e1ndar. El puente tiene una luz de 200 metros, mientras que el arco s\u00f3lo mide 20 metros de altura en su punto m\u00e1s alto, en comparaci\u00f3n con un arco de cuerda est\u00e1ndar, que tendr\u00eda que medir 50 metros. Este dise\u00f1o permiti\u00f3 ahorrar hasta un 40% de material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las barras se tensaron con el TechnoTensioner de Macalloy, un dispositivo para tensar varillas mediante una conexi\u00f3n de tensor. Todas las cargas fueron calculadas por Excon mediante un programa inform\u00e1tico de modelizaci\u00f3n y las cargas se controlaron en cada ciclo de tensado con galgas extensom\u00e9tricas.
