Cette expression bien connue est donc tout \u00e0 fait pertinente lorsqu&#8217;il s&#8217;agit de remplacer l&#8217;ancien pont de Witry \u00e0 Reims, en France. Construit \u00e0 l&#8217;origine en 1935, l&#8217;usure subie n&#8217;en a pas fait un projet de r\u00e9paration viable, et ce c\u00e9l\u00e8bre point de rep\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9moli en mars 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une grande partie des vieux mat\u00e9riaux issus de la d\u00e9molition sera utilis\u00e9e dans le nouveau pont actuellement en construction, qui verra l&#8217;ajout de larges voies pour les cyclistes et les pi\u00e9tons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les photos montrent que l&#8217;apparence du nouveau pont pr\u00e9sente des similitudes avec l&#8217;original, mais qu&#8217;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9 en un pont moderne dont les arches sont construites en acier plut\u00f4t qu&#8217;en b\u00e9ton comme \u00e0 l&#8217;origine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien que ce pont soit consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un pont en arc standard couvrant une port\u00e9e de 66 m avec des suspensions verticales, ce qui le rend unique, c&#8217;est l&#8217;utilisation d&#8217;\u00e9tais de compression verticaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans l&#8217;ensemble, les entretoises de compression sont des \u00e9l\u00e9ments structurels qui jouent un r\u00f4le crucial dans les applications en r\u00e9sistant aux forces de compression, en emp\u00eachant le flambage et en garantissant l&#8217;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 et la stabilit\u00e9 des structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, pour ce projet, les 14 \u00e9tais de compression architecturaux r\u00e9glables de Macalloy ont servi uniquement \u00e0 la mise en tension. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s comme suspensions pour soutenir le tablier du pont \u00e0 partir de l&#8217;arche sup\u00e9rieure de la structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cadre du produit fini, les \u00e9tais ont \u00e9t\u00e9 galvanis\u00e9s et peints sur place par notre client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une autre caract\u00e9ristique inhabituelle de la construction de ce pont est que la structure du pont, y compris les \u00e9tais, a \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9e et assembl\u00e9e en dehors du site et mise en place \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;un \u00e9quipement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9, comme on peut
