Both Macalloy 1030 and 460 products were used recently on the AJ Hackett Skybridge in Sochi. At over 200 metres off the ground and 439 metres in length, this is the longest suspension footbridge in the world. Russia's SkyBridge (above the Ahshtyrskaya Valley) was opened in 2014 to coincide with the Winter Olympics hosted in Sochi. The tourist attraction features a bungi and the SochiSwing - the highest swing in the world.
Our Macalloy 1030 P/Tbar was used to anchor the bridge to the sides of the mountains, while the M460 bar was used to join the top supporting frame with the walkway.
