Macalloy Stainless Cables used on Sculpture at Denver museum

Macalloy supplied stainless cables for use in the Iridescent Cloud sculpture at Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The cables were used to suspend a network of clear acrylic tetrahedral prisms - these are woven into a web of stainless steel rod.

The art was commissioned by the City and County of Denver's Public Art Program. Haddad|Drugan conceived and oversaw all aspects of the design and production, while Demiurge Design fabricated and installed the cloud sculpture and columns.
