Macalloy 460 M85 tie rods were used to suspend the landmark Wainwright Arch Bridge. The Arch Bridge design provides a vital road link between Blackburn, Lancashire.
Macalloy tie bars are used on the Wainwright Bridge in Blackburn, England. The Macalloy tension bars are suspended from the steel arch and support the bridge deck.
Macalloy’s site services team provided supervision and training on site for the correct installation and tensioning of the hangers using the Macalloy TechnoTensioner device.
