A collection of Macalloy products were used within the roof structure of the stadium from Macalloy tension bars / tie rods and finally connection discs to form a part of the bracing.
Macalloy tension bars are used as bracing in the steel truss work of the roof structure at the Rhein-Neckar Arena in Sinnsheim. The use of high strength steel tie rods helped minimize the weight of the roof. In the bracing Macalloy connection discs were also used.
The stadium was built to host matches for 1899 Hoffenheim. It has a capacity of 30,000 and was used to host matches at the 2011 FIFA Womens world cup.
