Various Macalloy products were used in the construction of the Metro Station, including stainless steel tension bars / tie rods. Also within this project the Macalloy TechnoTensioner was used for the stressing of the tension rods for the roof structure. The tie rods were installed by Macalloys partner in the Czech Republic, Tension Systems s.r.o. Tension Systems used the Macalloy TechnoTensioner to undertake stressing of the tension rods.
Macalloy stainless steel tension bars are used in the roof structure of Strizkov Metro Station in Prague, Czech Republic. The roof structure is suspended from a steel arch using Macalloy tie bars. The unique design allowed for a lightweight structure with a high end architectural finish.

The station forms part of the extension of the metro line in Prague.

Residents will enjoy panoramic views from the two glass steel towers that soar high into the Sydney skyline. Over 300 Macalloy Stainless 520 M42 Tendons have been used to help support the roof.
