The Ponte ad Arco Sulla Valnerina Arch Bridge contains the Macalloy 1030 Post Tensioning (PT) Bar. The PT Bar consists of high tensile alloy steel bars. The Macalloy 1030 is made up of a carbon-chrome steel. The aforementioned Macalloy products were used extensively within the arch bridge design.
Macalloy 1030 PT bar is used on the Ponte ad arco sulla Valnerina, Italy. The high strength post tensioning bolts are used to anchor each of the large steel arches.
Macalloy is proud to have been involved in 4 of the stadiums due to host FIFA Worldcup games in Russia. Pictured is Mordovia Arena in Saransk. Macalloy has provided galvanised M48 tension bars, turnbuckles and connection discs to help support the roof. The first match their will be held on 16th June.
