Izmir Airport is currently undergoing renovation work and Macalloy is supplying Tensile Structure System products 460 and 520 within the new roof structure.
The Macalloy 460 and 520 Bar Systems can be supplied as carbon chrome, galvanised finish or in stainless steel and is available from 10mm to 100mm, with lengths up to 12m.
The Minimum Yield Stress for the Macalloy 460 is 460 N/mm2. For the Macalloy 520 it is 520 N/mm2 Greater tendon lengths can be obtained by joining Macalloy bars with threaded Macalloy couplers. We also provide bars, forks, lock covers and pins at either end, this can aid tensioning and adjustment of the bar systems.

Residents will enjoy panoramic views from the two glass steel towers that soar high into the Sydney skyline. Over 300 Macalloy Stainless 520 M42 Tendons have been used to help support the roof.
