A variety of Macalloy products from tie rods / tension bars, to the Macalloy TechnoTensioner were hired out to tension the tie bar on site.
Macalloy tie rods are used to provide bracing for the large open span roof structure of Hall 11 at Frankfurt Exhibition Centre.
The roof covers 22 square metres and each glulam truss covers a span of 78 metres, providing a large open plan space with no internal columns. The glulam truss roof uses Macalloy high strength steel tension bars for cross bracing.
Macalloy provide support for the installation of the tension bars including the hire of the Macalloy tie bar tensioning device, the Macalloy TechnoTensioner.
