Macalloy Tension Bars Used as Bracing in Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, AUSTRALIA

Macalloy Tension bars were used within an architectural capacity at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium's Lighting Columns.

The Melbourne rectangular stadium in Australia features prominent lightning masts that feature Macalloy tension tie rods. The Macalloy tie bars are used as bracing within the tubular steel lights.

The stadium, which hosts both football and rugby matches, has a capacity of 31,000.

Macalloy in Russia

Macalloy is proud to have been involved in 4 of the stadiums due to host FIFA Worldcup games in Russia. Pictured is Mordovia Arena in Saransk. Macalloy has provided galvanised M48 tension bars, turnbuckles and connection discs to help support the roof. The first match their will be held on 16th June.
