Products in use : Macalloy worked with our agent Inoxline to supply M85 galvanised 520 Grade Tension Bars, the overall length of which was 57 metres. The Tension Bars are in place to support the bridge.
Macalloy also supplied our Techno Tensioner to Bladt Industries for the tensioning of the bars, prior to the bridge being lifted into place.
Background: Sofiero Palace, known for it’s heritage, amazing gardens , musical concerts, stunning views and one of Europe’s largest collection of rhododendrons, which bloom in all their glory in early summer. Sofia’s bridge completed in 2018, boldly spans the north gully.
