Macalloy is delighted to introduce the Macalloy 640 Bar System, the latest addition to our industry-leading tension bar range .Built for engineers who need higher capacity without compromising on the reliability Macalloy is known for.
The Macalloy 640 offers a minimum yield stress of 640 N/mm², giving specifiers a step up in load capacity over our existing 460, 520 and 550 systems. As with the rest of the Macalloy range, the thread is rolled rather than cut, allowing for smaller diameter bars for a given load , thereby reducing material, transport and installation costs on site.
Available in M10- M120 diameter and manufactured to the same rigorous quality standards as every Macalloy product, the 640 is suited to a range of target applications e.g. bridges, stadia, high-load architectural structures.
