Background: After many successful construction projects to build the five UK Centre Parcs, a decision was made to establish a sixth site based in Ireland making it the first Centre Parc in Ireland. Longford Forest opened in 2019 and includes over 460 lodges and 30 apartments. It has more than 100 indoor and outdoor family activities, a range of restaurants and shops, a spa, and a swimming pool.
Macalloy Tension Bars in M36 and M48, along with connection discs and cross couplers have been used as cross bracing to support the facade.
