Products in use: Macalloy supplied 312 50mm Post Tensioning Bars

Background: Originally build in 1961, the Flyover bridge has suffered damage and in 2011 work started on the extensive structural repair works.

The project was critical as the Flyer was the main route to support the huge amount of traffic expected for the London 2012 Olympic games, which had been temporarily closed earlier in the year.

Macalloy involvement : Macalloy supplied 312 50mm Post Tensioning Bars. The Macalloy PT Bars were used to secure and tension concrete slabs that were used to anchor the PT cable.
