Background: The 2,500m 4-storey grandstand and terraces have a capacity of 2,900 and include a grandstand restaurant, hospitality suite and fast-food facilities. As well as new all-weather racetrack, kennel and ancillary blocks.
Macalloy involvement: Macalloy tension rods are used to support the roof structure. The tension bars are used as stays, anchored back to the main structure, and suspending the roof providing a lightweight architectural finish to enable the maximum vision for spectators.
Macalloy site services assisted in loading, parallel stressing and installation.
