Products in use : Macalloy supplied the Macalloy 1030 post Tension Bar in 75mm, 50mm & 25mm and TB520 in M85 for this project.
Background: The multi-million-pound transport scheme opened just after midnight on Saturday 14th October 2017. It is a new six-lane toll bridge over the Mersey between the towns of Runcorn and Widnes. It will relieve the congested and ageing Silver Jubilee Bridge.
In 2018 it was awarded an Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) special award in recognition of the phenomenal feat of engineering.
