Products in use : Macalloy post Tension Bars system.
Background: France’s highest road bridge is a cable-stayed, masted structure spanning 2.46 kilometers and is 345m high (1,104ft). During construction, the Millau Viaduct in France required temporary steel column supports to support the bridge during the process of installing the cable stay hangers. The steel column supports were anchored to the ground using the Macalloy post-tension bar. The columns were placed between the cable hanger towers for support, The Macalloy PT bar provided a high strength anchor bolt.
