Background: The history of the Esplora Interactive Science Centre located in Kalkara Malta, is quite extraordinary. The main building dates back to the 17th Century which was originally built as a private residence. It has served as a hospital in many wars including World War 1 &11 .Today the building serves the public for a different reason . It is a popular educational and recreational destination that aims to engage visitors, especially children and families, in hands-on and interactive science exhibits.
